In this service, patients needing correction of their refractive errors are treated with laser, or surgical methods to overcome their refractive error inconvenience.
What this service does.
The refractive surgery is meant for patients with different refractive conditions. These include, short sight ( myopia) long sight ( hypermetropia), irregular focus ( astigmatism) and loss of reading vision ( presbyopia).
The treatment techniques, include cataract surgery and lens implant, implantation of new contact lens, inside the eye, use of laser such as the excimer laser for lasik, and use of specialised toric monofocal and toric multifocal lenses, to deal with astigmatism.
