About Our Medical Retina Service
The retina is the delicate, light-sensing layer at the back of the eye. Medical Retina is the care of retinal diseases treated with medication, intravitreal injections and laser — rather than with major surgery. Many of these conditions develop silently and can quietly take central vision, which is why timely diagnosis and treatment matter so much.
At Suraj Eye Institute we combine advanced imaging — OCT, OCT-angiography, fluorescein and ICG angiography, fundus autofluorescence and ultra-widefield photography — with modern, evidence-based treatment by an experienced retina team.
If you have diabetes, you need a retina check — even if your vision feels normal. Diabetic retinopathy often causes no symptoms until it is advanced.
